At KindNest, we believe in going back to basics - choosing simple, natural living wherever we can.

Our journey began with a personal desire to care for my family in the gentlest, most eco-conscious way possible. As a nature lover with a heart for sustainable living, I knew that disposable, plastic & chemical-filled products just didn't align with the life I wanted to build.

In 2015, while preparing for the birth of my first child, I discovered the world of cloth nappies and reusable menstrual products. That discovery inspired me to adopt a more mindful, natural way of life. When our family budget tightened after the birth of our second child, I taught myself to sew using YouTube videos and PDF tutorials so that I could provide for our growing family with my own hands.

What began as a personal project grew into something more. In 2020, during the uncertainty of lockdown and my husband's job loss, I registered my first business to help sustain us. What started with cloth masks soon transitioned back to my true passion - making beautiful, reusable essentials for everyday family life.

Today, KindNest is my heartfelt offering to families like yours - an invitation to join me in embracing eco-living with practical, beautiful handmade alternatives. Every product is made by me, by hand, from start to finish, with love and care in Cape Town, South Africa.

As a homeschooling mother of four young children, I understand the need for products that are reliable, affordable, and easy to use. That's why I offer both custom-made orders and a growing ready-to-ship range. My goal is to make eco-conscious living more accessible to more families, one handmade product at a time.
